Wishes in the Wind (2021)

This magical project was the brainchild of Theatre Direct Artistic Director Lisa Marie DiLiberto and offers an inspiring glimpse into the hearts of young people navigating the pandemic together. Grand Acts of Great Hope was presented by the NAC/CNA. I composed the score, and acted as an Associate Director on this beautiful piece.

Without Mass: From Swale to Dome (2021)

Without Mass began as a series of songs of gratitude, reverence and sacredness composed by myself and my brother-in-art Tor Lukasik-Foss. The piece is meant to be heard while walking a through Gage Park. The songs were recorded during lockdown by members of the Tuesday Choir, on their phones, and I got to weave their warm voices into a choral blanket of cozy togetherness. A triumph of collective spirit and individual courage. It was presented at the Hamilton Fringe’s Frost Bites Festival.

The ARC Podcast (2021)

What a joy to host the ARC Podcast, with season one released in late 2021. In each episode, I dive deep into an intimate conversation with a Canadian musician and explore how their personal journey shaped their creative process. I am so grateful to Nicole Rochefort of AIM Booking Agency for inviting me to be a part of this.

Columnist on cBC’s The Next Chapter

If you’d told my teenage bookworm self that one day I’d get to review books on national radio over the course of a decade with my then (and now) idol Shelagh Rogers, I would have sung it from the rooftops. Words cannot describe what an honour it has been to share my thoughts with listeners all across the country, and even invent a series called Road Trip. I’m always open to new book suggestions so don’t be shy if you have one. Shout out to the producer who makes it all work, the indomitable Jacqueline Kirk.
